Toyota Stadium


Illuminations of Toyota Stadium are completed. The stadium is domestic maximum scale football field, completion in 2001, architectonics by Kisho Kurokawa architect & associates. The lighting ceremony was done inviting the Toyota City mayor. It has 16 lighting patterns that changes colors of four mast and edge parts of roofs.

Kyushu National Museum


It will be built in Fukuoka Dazaifu and the 4th National Museums in Japan following Tokyo, Kyoto, and Nara (design supervision : Kikutake and Kume design community). Building construction finished in spring of 2004. And now preparation of exterior construction and exhibition is advanced for opening in the 2005 fiscal year.

The concert hall of MUZA Kawasaki


The concert hall of MUZA Kawasaki (architectonics: Urban Renaissance Agency and Matsuda Hirata Sekkei), in front of Kawasaki station, completed in December 2003, was started to use in this summary. Chikada Lighting Design Office dealt with the lighting of a public space and external scene lighting including the concert hall.

How should LED be used for construction space

JLEDS establishment commemoration symposium "The past present future of LED - How does Light Emitting Diode change lighting -" was held at Hirakawacho Kaiun Club. Reiko Chikada participated as a coordinator to its Panel discussion "How should LED be used for construction space".
Four panelists, Mr.Makoto Watanabe (chief of Architects Office), Mr.Kouichi Kaihou (NIkken Sekkei), Mr.Tsutomu Ochiai (M&O Design Office), Mr.katsushi Nakazawa (Obayashi Corporation), had exchanged the active opinions.

Shinonome Canal Court CODAN 3rd and 4th block


Construction of 5th and 6th block is also completed in the spring of next year, and a new town is completed.

Preliminary design of 3rd block: KengoKuma&Associates, RIA, Urban Development Corporation Tokyo Office.
4th block: Yama Sekkei Koubou, Urban Development Corporation Tokyo Office.

summer jaunt

Reiko Chikada passed the summer vacation from August 10th to 18th in Central Asia and Uzbekistan which have 2500 years of history as oasis of the Silk Road. In recent years, Hiwa, Bukhara, Samarkand, and Tashkent are focusing on town developments to invite more tourists.

Lighting Design Award-winning

The award ceremony of the Illuminating Engineering Institute of Japan Lighting Design Prize was held, and Izumi City Plaza was awarded. Simultaneously, the Izumi city plaza also won The Illuminating Engineering Institute of North America Design Prize with the Sato Sougou Keikaku.
