In the facade of Toyota-shi station, Aichi, a new sheltered walkway is now in service. It is expected to be the commercial area's gravity core, attract people and thus contribute the area's economy. A simple color scheme, blue and green, is applied to the whole walkway's illumination so that it would indicate the city's axis running from the station to Toyota Stadium via Toyota Ohashi bridge. What adds spices is indirect illumination by LEDs and decorative motifs hunged on the wall. LEDs show a pleasant color-changing sequenses that switch from time to time and season to season.
