Shosuke-no-Yado Takinoyu Renovation Work

A hotel founded in 1880s in a famous hot-spring area underwent a renovation of some guest rooms, corridors, big baths, and exterior. Our tasks included: to build a comprehensive lighting design that makes the hotel unique and competitive; to design an extraordinary atmosphere in the rooms and stairs; to create gorgeous night view; and to achieve comfortable lighting with LEDs. The hotel remained open during the renovation, schedule was tight, and budget was small. Our lighting design concept was “The allure of Japan”.
