Summary | Five huge replicas of 7m-high stone crosses, which represent Christianity and Celtic culture, were exhibited in the Ireland Pavilion. It was the first time for the replicas to be taken out of the country. The crosses were displayed in the center of the pavilion, under a 10m-in-diameter dome ceiling. Constantly varying sky of Ireland were projected on the dome: blue sky, cloudy sky, thunderstorm, rainbow after rain, dusk, moonlight, and dawn. We programmed the color and the brightness of lightings for the crosses along with the changing sky. |
