Night-time illumination of two bridges over the Asano River completed

Night-time illumination of Tenjinbashi Bridge and Umenohashi Bridge over the Asano River, designed by Kanazawa City and Reiko Chikada Lighting Design Inc. (Designer: Hisae Nozawa), were completed. For Tenjinbashi Bridge, we lit down the pillars supporting the arch with LED fixtures, illuminated the under side of the bridge with floodlights, and restored the lighting fixtures of the newel posts. And for Umenohashi Bridge, we strongly illuminated the top surface of the bridge with linear LEDs installed under the two hand-rails, and emphasized the distinctive side surfaces (keta-kakushi) by floodlights.
