Lighting Fair 2017
"Enlighten Asia 2017 in Japan" ,the international lighting seminar by Japanese lighting designers, was held on March 8(Wed.) and 9(Thu.) in time with the International Lighting Fair at Tokyo Big Site from March 7(Tue.) to 10(Fri.).
On March 7, Reiko Chikada moderated a panel discussion "Japanese lighting designs in the world" in which 7 Japanese lighting designers (Tatsuya Iwai, Yukio Onoda, Yoshihide Kurose, Hirohito Totsune, Aki Hayakawa, Kaoru Mende, and Hideto Mori) presented their works.
Reiko Chikada joined the after dark tour "Untold story behind the development of Shinonome Area" on March 8 (18:00-20:00), and she also moderated the seminar "The Role of Lighting Designers in a Post-LED World" by Andrea Hartranft and Kevan Shaw on March 9.
Hisae Nozawa moderated the seminar "Analyzing the Architecture of Light" by Nozomu Yoshizawa on March 8, and she gave a presentation about the Kanazawa Castle Gyokusenin-Maru Garden lighting design at Good Lighting Award Forum held by The Illuminating Engineering Institute of Japan on March 9."
