Kyushu National Museum Night-time Operation Opening Ceremony

Kyushu National Museum (Completed in 2005, Architects: Kiyonori Kikutake Architects + Kume Sekkei) started night-time operation until 20:00pm on Friday and Saturday from April 28(Fri.). Reiko Chikada Lighting Design Inc. worked to piece out the exterior illumination and created a special atmosphere different from the day-time operation. Especially, the illumination of 100 Shidarezakura cherry trees grown to blossom in a late season (produced by Seijun Nishihata) was the special feature of the ceremony.
