Kanazawa Station and Tsuzumi Gate Lighting Ceremony

The lighting of newly-built Tsuzumi Gate in Kanazawa as started. The city aims to create an attractive night landscape.(Designer: Hisae Nozawa) 20 LED spotlights illuminate the gate from sunset to midnight every day with warm white color light. And at every hour on the hour, the light changes to colored light featuring Kaga-gosai (the five colors of Kaga). At the lighting ceremony, a special illumination designed for Christmas using red and green lights was introduced with the traditional Kagatobi performance (an acrobatic performance on a ladder).
