Interview for a special feature project in “Tokyo-jin" magazine

Reiko Chikada Lighting Design Inc. has been involved in the Nouvelle Akabanedai project, a reconstruction project by UR Urban Renaissance Agency that began in the 2000s, working with various architects and specialists in urban development through lighting. Our goal is to set the color and brightness of light for the entire town, to illuminate community spaces, and to improve the quality of light in places essential to daily life, such as garbage dumpsters, bicycle parking lots, and parking lots, which had previously been considered the back side of the city.
