“Tokyo-jin" Special Edition - Walking in Akabanedai to Learn the Design History of Apartment Complexes

On the occasion of the Star House and the boarded residential tower of the former Akabanedai housing complex becoming the first housing complex to be designated as a registered tangible cultural property, a special issue was published to discuss the past, present, and future of housing complexes, and the UR Museum of Town and Life and Nouvelle Akabanedai were featured prominently. Design director Mari Watanabe, who talked about the next vision for the housing complex, commented that the lighting design by Reiko Chikada Lighting Design Inc. played a major role in Nouvelle Akabanedai.
