At the request of Kanazawa City, Reiko Chikada Lighting Design Inc. (in charge: Nozawa) will illuminate sculptures and waterways along the roads for the National Cultural Festival (Ishikawa Hyakumangoku Cultural Festival 2023), which opens on October 14. Gold LEDs will be used to create a spectacular night view and encourage people to walk from the station to the central city center, in reference to Kanazawa's name, Kinjyo Reitaku, from which gold was derived.
