Kanazawa Station Street Line Landscape Lighting Lighting Ceremony

Kanazawa City and Reiko Chikada Lighting Design Inc. (in charge: Nozawa) completed the lighting of sculptures and waterways along the Kanazawa Station Street Line from Kanazawa Station to Musashigatsuji. The lighting ceremony was attended by Kanazawa City Mayor Taku Murayama, people involved in the shopping district and community development, and Reiko Chikada. The lighting used LEDs in gold and warm colors associated with the name of Kanazawa, and the design was intended to give a historical background to the modern city. The lighting was designed to invite visitors to the Ishikawa Hyakumangoku Cultural Festival 2023 (to be held from October 14 to November 26) to the city center and enhance their circulation. Five newspapers came to cover the event, indicating the high interest of Kanazawa citizens in the nighttime scenery.
