Kawagoe City Urban Landscape Council, Landscape Award Judging Subcommittee

Reiko Chikada served as a judge (Naomichi Kurata, Maho Hiiro, Sachie Shinozaki, Reiko Chikada, Shigeto Ishii, Jun Matsuyama, and Ryo Nishikawa) of the Kawagoe City Urban Landscape Award Judging Committee, which was established to preserve and create an excellent urban landscape of Kawagoe and to realize an attractive and comfortable city. The judges spent about six hours on site reviewing about 15 works based on the results of the preliminary screening, and selected five works for the Urban Landscape Award. The entries were from all over the city, and we felt that many of the works were of a high level and diverse, giving a sense of the depth of Kawagoe's landscape.
