Factory Tour

Reiko Chikada participated in a lighting factory tour and training program organized by the Japan International Association of Lighting Designers (IALDJapn). During the factory tour, she rediscovered the fascination of manufacturing, reminiscent of her student days.
At the sheet metal forming factory, she was impressed by the high level of craftsmanship of the artisans. At the aluminum casting factory, she realized the physical strength required of the factory. At the sheet metal processing, painting, and assembly factory, she felt the importance of the management's investment skills in keeping up with the constantly updated equipment.
