AACA Award 2025 (35th Edition) Preliminary Judging

The Architectural Art and Craft Association of Japan (AACA) is an organization where architects, artists, craftspeople, and designers collaborate to create environments rich in artistic expression and beautiful landscapes.
Reiko Chikada, serving as a judge for the 35th AACA Award, reviewed 76 entries spanning a wide range of fields from urban design to architecture, painting, sculpture, crafts, materials, and energy. Nineteen works passed the first screening. Following on-site inspections, a public judging session will be held at the Architecture Hall on Thursday, November 13th. Awards to be presented include: one AACA Grand Prize, one Yoshinobu Ashihara Newcomer Award, Excellence Awards, Encouragement Awards, Special Awards, and Art and Craft Awards.
