Summary

During the flowering time of cherry blossoms in 2007 and 2008, the Spring Illumination of Hamarikyu Onshi Teien was held for about a month. In the large garden, where it takes about an hour to look around, many people enjoyed "the Eight Views of Illumination." In 2008, Rape Blossoms were illuminated as well as Someiyoshino (Cherry Blossoms) and Yaezakura (Cherry Blossoms). We applied different method and lamp to each flower to enhance their respective charms. We also added a subtle touch to the illumination by using golden color, the color of rape blossoms, in the lightings for the 300-year Pine Tree and the Otsutaibashi Bridge.
