15th IES Mexico "Light + People"

Reiko Chikada was invited by the Illuminating Engineering Society Mexico Section to the International Lighting Design Meeting "Light + People."

In her 1 hour presentation titled "Lighting Design to Connect People with Architecture", she introduced Kyushu National Museum, Shinden Sakurazaka Slope, and Re-tem Tokyo Factory.

She explained "what to sense from site visit before planning", "how to design the relationship between people and architecture", and "specific methods of lighting" and then answered to questions from the audience.

The meeting was held from June 5 to 7.
6 designers from Spain(2), USA(1), Argentina(1), Mexico(1), and Reiko Chikada were invited as speakers. 2 panel discussions, 2 round-table discussions, and 2 workshops were actively held.
