2020 Korea-Japan Urban Design Exchange Conference

Korea-Japan Urban Design Exchange Conference, in which Reiko Chikada participates every year as a director of the Town Design Aid : TDA, was held online from 10 am to 5 pm this year. After opening remarks by Lee Seok-hyun (chairperson of Urban Design Forum, PUDA, Korea, Professor of Chuo University) and Naomichi Kurata (CEO of TDA), lively discussions took place based on reports from Paju, Yokohama, Tokyo -Mukojima and Seoul. In the past, specialists such as city planners undertook large-scale development, but now artists and the general citizens revitalize and bottom up existing cities.
