Unchyo-an Jeweled Sakyamuni Buddha Lighting

Founded between 1270 and 1300, this Zen temple became a pagoda of Enkaakuji Temple around 1600, and is not open to the public.
The main image of the Gohonzon, a seated statue of the Jeweled Sakyamuni Buddha, located in the back of the main hall, is lit only slightly at night, allowing those seeking the teachings of Buddha to visit the temple through the gate (in charge: Nozawa).
