Kanazawa Nagamachi Buke Yashiki District Lighting Ceremony

A lighting ceremony was held after the completion of lighting improvements to the buildings, gates, and earthen walls along the irrigation channel in the Naga-machi Bukeyashiki district, which were intended to create an attractive nighttime landscape (in charge: Nozawa). Reiko Chikada switched on the lights with Kanazawa Mayor Taku Murayama, Kanazawa City Council Chair Masato Miyazaki, Kanazawa City Council Standing Committee on Construction and Enterprise Chairman Shunichi Nakagawa, Nagamachi Landscape District Machizukuri Council Chairman Seiji Aoki, Nagamachi Bukeyashiki Neighborhood Association Chairman Toru Sakaguchi, and Kanazawa Artisan College President Mitsuhiko Kawakami. After the lighting, Reiko Chikada explained the outline of the design and showed the night view of the Nagamachi area.
